Helping You Find Success With Personalized Coaching

Feel Like It’s Time to Make a Change in Your Business, But Can’t Seem to Find a Way?

At TCG, we want to have a transformational impact on the individuals we coach and mentor. But we also want to affect the individual we’re coaching. We want to bring in a broad, strategic focus to the coaching, helping individuals to effect change and collaborate with others to solve immense strategic challenges.

What does Success look like?

Success should come with a warning label?

There are always time and financial sacrifices when we are pursuing professional success. If our partners aren’t on board and accepting of those sacrifices, they won’t want anything to do with our success. When loved ones get asked to “wait,” to “be patient” or to “just hold on” for a little while, they are usually happy to. However, when that request becomes an expected habit and they are continually being put on the back burner, their response changes.

We can’t stop time.

Kids have recitals and baseball games. Parents get older. Our health can often be an unexpected sacrifice in our quest for success. We Can’t Afford to Put Our Work-Life Balance on Standby. This is the mistake that so many of us make when we’re dreaming our dreams and working toward the pinnacle of professional success. It’s not that we forget about our relationships or stop caring about them. In fact, it’s the exact opposite.

We have to set boundaries at work.

Saying “no” at work is terrifying, but that isn’t a reason to say “yes.” It feels like we are putting our job and professional success in jeopardy…the same kind of jeopardy we put our relationships, our families, and our health in when we say no to them.

We fear to risk our livelihoods by making any other choice in our professional lives. That fear traps us into giving our professional responsibilities more control over our personal lives than they are entitled to.

We might have to sacrifice some professional success.

Know that having boundaries and limits in our professional lives will have a cost. Someone scrambling behind you may be willing to pull that 80 hour work week, and they may get the next promotion.

That’s ok.

Compromises cannot only be made on one side of the scale. It may take longer to get to where you want to be. You might have to change your timeline. Hell, you might be required to take a different route altogether.

Short Term success means nothing, if long-term failure is in your future.

Organization and Leadership

Leaders have a vision, bringing them to fruition can be a challenge. There are drawbacks, some a leader can handle on their own whereas others might bring them to an impasse. This is where a leader would bring in a coach. This coach will come alongside the leader, help them to refocus, see the big picture.

Be grateful and appreciate the story, the substrate of problems, mistakes, ambiguity and the like. This is the arena of development and contribution. With coaching, leaders get to become more valuable while practicing their craft.

Coaching Leadership tackles Challenges:

Support employee engagement and job satisfaction, reducing turnover

Enhance performance and improve productivity

Build a more-effective, cohesive, and trusting team

Give themselves more time to do strategic, leadership-oriented work because their team will be productive and engaged

Understand the fundamental difference between managing and coaching.

Enhance their reputation as leaders

Team Coaching

TCG’s Coach- provide a powerful partnership with the team and the team leader to efficiently deliver success for the individuals, the team and their organization.
The benefit of bringing a group of high performing experts together in a team is to create value, encourage innovation and improve performance above and beyond the individual team members alone. Team coaching supports the leader to do this in all areas of team engagement, strategy, and collaboration, balancing day-to-day deliverables with the need to grow and develop.
Teams face many diverse challenges from how to integrate new team members or address interpersonal conflict, to setting up a new team to meet stretching targets. These can create highly stressful periods for a team that drive down productivity, leaving the team leader and team members frustrated and unsure how to build greater resilience.

Coaching and Personal Growth

Clarify your goals

Success is at the intersection of what you love doing and what you do better than almost anyone else.  Your coach will not only help you identify your skills and competencies, but also show you what steps you need to take to launch a new career which better meets your needs.

Stick to your plan

One of the reasons people’s plans fall off the rails is that they encounter obstacles and eventually lose interest.  A personal coach will help you understand that those obstacles are part of the process of making progress and help you keep your eyes on the prize.   In those moments when you’ve experienced failure and begin to lose heart, your coach will remind you of how much progress you’ve already made and help you understand how much closer you are to your goal today than you were yesterday.

Give objective feedback

if you’ve ever shared a problem with a friend or family member, only to hear them tell you what they think you want to hear, you know how valuable unbiased feedback can be.  Your coach is there to ensure that you make progress towards your goals—when your coach evaluates the actions you need to take, he or she will do so objectively, providing an honest and forthright assessment of what you’re doing right—and what you’re doing wrong.
